Cleaver in Hero Wars

Cleaver was considered the best tank in Hero Wars Dominion Era for a long time. He is available only via the Heroic Chest, so obtaining him is tricky and difficult. One of his advantages is that he is the tank with the highest health in the game and can pull heroes from the back line to the front line.

He is considered a meta combo with Peppy due to her Boldness skill that increases Cleaver's damage output to the front line.

If you are lucky enough to unlock Cleaver, he'll arrive with an absolute star.

How to counter Cleaver in Hero Wars Dominion Era?

Dorian

Dorian increases the vampirism of nearby allies. Once pulled at the front line by Cleaver's Rusty Hook, he can increase the vampirism of the front-line heroes, making them even harder to defeat.

Andvari

Andvari's Living Earth skill protects his allies from displacement and knock-up effects blocking Cleaver's ability to pull back-line heroes to the front line.

Peppy

Aurora

Peppy casts a shield over Aurora that deals damage to nearby allies. On the other site, Aurora's Rainbow Halo skill absorbs part of the magic damage she takes and explodes at the end, damaging nearby enemies with the absorbed damage that can eliminate Cleaver almost immediately.

Lian

Lian can block Cleaver's Rusty Hook whenever he tries to pull Lian to the front line. Cleaver will also be charmed, slowing down his other skill activation.
