Thomas Monson is called a prophet and bearer of divine revelations by modern church followers for a reason. His career began as a humble teacher before venturing into the publishing business and subsequently working extensively in the advertising sphere.
Following his position in the church, Monson assumed the role of manager for Mormon enterprises "Bonneville International" and "KSL news." He was appointed as an adviser to the president by Ronald Reagan during the pinnacle of his career, and by the 2000s, church assets totaling more than $20 billion were already owned by Monson.
