When a mouthwatering meal is placed in front of us, it is tempting to have food shoveled down our mouths. However, it is not ideal for our health.

The pace at which eating occurs is of utmost importance as it determines the amount of food consumed and the likelihood of gaining weight. It has been observed that fast eaters are more likely to consume larger quantities of food and have a higher BMI.

Hormones play a significant role in controlling factors such as appetite, satiety, and food intake.
