Betty White
The ditzy but loveable Rose was played by White, who was known for sharing her silly stories about growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota.
In terms of accomplishments and longevity, it seems unlikely that what White achieved will ever be duplicated.
A television pioneer, she was featured on an experimental TV show in 1939 at 17.
She was also among the first women to have complete creative control over a TV program, as a variety show host and producer that included a female director and the first African American (Arthur Duncan) to be a regular cast member on a TV show.
After a couple of decades spent appearing on talk shows and game shows, acting became her full-time pursuit in the 1970s when she took on the role of Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Taylor Moore Show.
Following the conclusion of The Golden Girls and its sequel Golden Palace, she remained busy and her career skyrocketed again with the airing of a wildly popular Snickers commercial during the 2010 Super Bowl.
Thanks to a Facebook campaign, she achieved the milestone of being the oldest person to host Saturday Night Life at 88 years old.
Additionally, she starred on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland for six seasons and served as executive producer on a show that featured elderly people pranking younger individuals.
The theatrical release of Betty White: A Celebration was planned to commemorate her 100th birthday on January 17th, 2022, but unfortunately, she passed away on December 31st.
Nonetheless, the documentary will still be released as intended.
So, there is no need to feel sad as she lived the kind of life we would all dream of!
