Because the effect covers the whole opposing team, it reduces incoming damage for all of her allies at once. It is particularly effective alongside a tank that can hold the front line while the enemy's damage is weakened. Her Water element gives her an advantage over Fire and Distortion titans, while Earth titans have the advantage over her.

As a support, Mairi needs both survivability and some offence. The Balance Seal comes first, providing a balanced mix of Health and Attack. Siungur's Bands, her weapon, is second, adding Elemental Damage to her attacks. The Water Crown is the lowest priority, as its Elemental Armor has less impact on her role than the other two.

The Mechanical Skin comes first, as its Elemental Damage bonus adds the most to Mairi's attacks. The Default Skin follows with extra Health to keep her alive on the back line. The Champion Skin adds Elemental Armor and can be upgraded last.
