The Amazing Change of Princess Leonor, the Future Ruler of Spain

At the tender age of 10, just a year after her communion, the Order of the Golden Fleece was awarded to Princess Leonor. The Golden Fleece, founded in 1430, was intended to uphold chivalry, defend the Roman Catholic religion, and settle disputes between knights.

Throughout the past 800 years, it has only been awarded to 1,300 people, with only three women being recipients prior to 2015. It was also received by Queen Elizabeth II from King Juan Carlos.
