Orion in Hero Wars

Orion is a mage hero part of the Way of Progress faction in Hero Wars Alliance. He is well-known for his huge AoE damage that increases over time during a battle. The more attacks he performs, the more energy he gains, creating a loop of AoE damage attacks and energy gains both in the front and back lines.

Orion is considered a great pick in teams with Dorian and Helios. Dorian can provide Orion vampirism, which will heal Orion with each attack while Helios can provide armor for the whole team making Orion last even longer in the game.

How to counter Orion in Hero Wars Alliance?

Satori

Satori will apply Fox Fire marks each time Orion gains extra energy with his "Full Charge" skill. Once activated, Satori's marks can destroy Orion.

Rufus

Rufus absorbs all magical damage with his 1st skill, Rakashi's Barrier, to block Orion's front-line damage.

Cornelius

Cornelius attacks the heroes with the highest intelligence with his 1st skill (Heavy Wisdom). If leveled up properly, it can kill Orion with one hit.

Lian

Lian can charm Orion whenever he deals AoE damage to the team, including her. This will slow him down to perform its AoE damage.

Corvus

Corvus' Altar of Souls will strike back at Orion whenever he deals damage to enemy heroes. Considering Orion's AoE damage, the alter will counter him if there is not a proper healer in his team.

Jorgen
