Because the projectile targets the rear, it usually reaches the supports and healers that sit at the back of the enemy formation, and a stun on those titans early in a fight can shape the rest of the battle. Nova has the highest Attack of the classic Water titans. Her Water element gives her an advantage over Fire and Distortion titans, while Earth titans have the advantage over her.

As a damage dealer, Nova gets the most value from Attack. The Attack Seal comes first, since it provides the largest Attack bonus together with some Health. Siungur's Maelstrom, her weapon, is second, adding Elemental Damage that supports her offensive role. The Water Crown is the lowest priority, as its Elemental Armor does little to improve her damage output.

The Champion Skin should be upgraded first, as its Elemental Damage bonus supports Nova's role as a damage dealer. The Default Skin follows with extra Physical Attack for her basic attacks. The Mechanical Skin only adds Elemental Armor and can be left until the other two are complete.
