When the shield is destroyed or recast, it explodes, damaging nearby enemies and stunning them briefly. These stuns also set up Amon, whose projectiles are directed at stunned enemies. Rigel has the highest Health of the Light titans, and his element gives him an advantage over Darkness titans, while Darkness titans also have the advantage over him.

Belav's Elytra, Rigel's weapon, comes first, as its Elemental Damage increases the damage he contributes beyond his shield. The Crown of Light is next, providing Elemental Armor that reduces damage from elemental attacks, particularly from Darkness titans. The Gleaming Defense Seal is the lowest priority, since its Health and Attack matter less for a titan who already has the most Health on the Light team.

The Default Skin should be upgraded first, as its Health bonus directly supports Rigel's role on the front line. The Champion Skin follows with extra Elemental Armor. The Mechanical Skin increases Elemental Damage and can be left until the other two are complete.
