Liara T'Soni (Mass Effect)

scifi.bg
Liara is a fragile girl who has barely gone through the first 100 years in her life, which is expected to last about a century. She’s an archeologist devoted to her work and to the peoples in her galaxy. When she first comes aboard on the Normandy, Liara is slightly naïve but close to the end she becomes an irreplaceable member of the crew under Commander Shepard.
In the course of development of the romance between her and the commander, she reveals more of her gentle sides and emotions. In society she’s reserved, pious and perfectly mannered but still knowing what she wants and how to achieve it. Her gentle voice and her rich emotional life, however, are not indicative of a “damsel in distress” type character.
Liara stands by her principles and she’s ready to defend them to death (especially that of her opponent). Despite her love of Shepard, she’s ready to leave him in order to serve a higher cause. Her selflessness couldn’t be valued any less higher.
