Due to the efforts of the newly elected Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed bin Salman, the county has witnessed a rise in its ranks.

However, prior to 2019, a different scenario prevailed. It was nearly impossible for the general public to obtain a visa to Saudi Arabia, which was only granted by the embassy to those desiring to visit Mecca.

Furthermore, all US tourists were prohibited from entering Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, as previously mentioned, a change is currently being experienced in a different direction.
