Alvanor in Hero Wars

Alvanor is a support hero that is part of the Way of Nature faction. He is a good counter to physical damage teams. He is an excellent combination with nature heroes like Mushy and Shroom, Mojo, and Dark Star due to his synergy. Alvanor can often be used as a tank because of his protective skills.

He can also be great at destroying mages at the front line because of his ability to slow down near enemies. His combination with Mushy and Shroom can be great for beating the Satori teams.

In addition, he has the unique feature of absorbing 100% damage absorption from basic attacks.

Pros

Absorbs physical attacks with a shield that is always active for nature heroes
Has healing skills, which can be a plus in defensive teams
It can be used in both magical and physical teams

Cons

A defense rather than attacking hero
Vulnerable to mages like Xe'Sha and Lilith
It takes time to level up to an absolute start (requires titan skin stones expenditure)
Healing is not that great compared to classic back line healers

How to counter Alvanor in Hero Wars Alliance?

Alvanor is a support hero positioned at the front line, which has healing abilities. He is also the hero with the highest intelligence and is often used in the middle line when combined with Way of Nature heroes. To counter him you need to focus on heroes that block these aspects of the hero.

Corvus

Corvus' altar is an excellent counter to Alvanor's AoE magic damage activated with his 3rd skill, Rune of Fire, and with his 1st skill, Runes of Ice.

Cornelius

Cornelius will target Alvanor because he's the hero with the highest intelligence in the game. Cornelius performs damage proportional to the target's intelligence level, usually enough to kill Alvanor in one hit.

Xe'Sha

Lilith

Xe'Sha and Lilith are targeting middle-line heroes. This makes Alvanor a perfect target when used with Mushy & Shroom due to his positioning in the middle line.
