Alvanor is a support hero that is part of the Way of Nature faction. He is a good counter to physical damage teams. He is an excellent combination with nature heroes like Mushy and Shroom, Mojo, and Dark Star due to his synergy. Alvanor can often be used as a tank because of his protective skills.
He can also be great at destroying mages at the front line because of his ability to slow down near enemies. His combination with Mushy and Shroom can be great for beating the Satori teams.
In addition, he has the unique feature of absorbing 100% damage absorption from basic attacks.

Alvanor is a support hero positioned at the front line, which has healing abilities. He is also the hero with the highest intelligence and is often used in the middle line when combined with Way of Nature heroes. To counter him you need to focus on heroes that block these aspects of the hero.

Corvus' altar is an excellent counter to Alvanor's AoE magic damage activated with his 3rd skill, Rune of Fire, and with his 1st skill, Runes of Ice.
