Treasure Islands is the name of the massive update coming to Hero Wars Mobile. The Skyships, a brand new entity in the game, will launch in the fall as a solo PvE mode utilizing Guardians and Titans. Playing "Treasure Islands" lets players level up quickly while having fun.
The journey through a Treasure Islands cycle commences with a map generation process. The Almighty Computer uses randomness to populate over 150 tiles with various types of hexes. Players are required to defeat an AI-controlled team of Guardians, Titans, or Skyships on battle tiles. Players can use boosters to quicken their exploration and progression throughout the map. Valuable resources lie within treasure chests of varying rarity that await gentle pillaging - bringing players closer to achieving the much-coveted "Treasure Islands," the ultimate reward.
Players begin their journey in the center of the map, where the fog of war obscures their vision. The randomly generated map is unique to each player and changes entirely with the start of a new cycle. Throughout the game, players explore the map, defeat enemies, and find treasure chests to complete their quest. Players receive the ultimate reward for their efforts after collecting enough chests, and the map resets to begin a new cycle.
"Treasure Islands" cycles last as long as players wish, no pressure! Every battle players take costs one turn point or a so-called Map Piece during the process. Players receive ten Map Pieces daily, and there is no other way to get more, even though Emeralds. In addition, Map Pieces do not burn away if they are unused, so players can stack up on them for a couple of days and get back to exploring whenever they desire.
By being joined by others, you create a formidable arsenal. These vessels are crewed by skilled Captains who will go head-to-head in epic battles high above the ground, allowing players to access the most valuable chests quickly. Upon reaching level 40, every player will receive their first Skyship, and with each successful "Treasure Islands" game, they'll gain access to more resources needed to unlock their ship's true potential. Players can become skilled fleet commanders of these levitating fortresses as they accumulate loot and additional Skyships.
The belief is that a Skyship's capabilities are determined by its construction. This applies to all Skyships, which have weapons and advanced enhancements slots. Players must choose how to outfit their vessel for combat, affecting its fighting style and an arsenal of cannons and tactics. Thus, it's crucial to experiment with various weapon combinations to prove oneself as the top airborne conqueror.
