A trailer for the last season of one of the best shows on Netflix.

Although we had to wait two years to see the second season of the brilliant German TV show Dark, the third season comes much more briskly. Apparently filming concluded long before the quarantines began as it is actually ready and its premier is just a month away. This came to light yesterday when the trailer leaked (today, 40 minutes ago it was added to Netflix).

The end is the beginning and the beginning is the end. Everything in life goes in cycles but this cycle will be the last one.

The last season made it clear that the show involves more than time-travel – it became clear that the plot involves parallel universes. The screenwriters have promised that in the last couple of episodes almost everything will become clear (save for a few little details, left out intentionally). We are keeping our fingers crossed in hope for a satisfactory conclusion but we are 99% sure that following the series finale it would be a good idea to rewatch the entire show again in order to piece the puzzle together.

Anyway, Dark is perhaps the best offering Netflix has at the moment for those who enjoy irregular, involved science fiction scenarios. In fact it recently won first place in a poll for Netflix’s best series, conducted on Rotten Tomatoes, beating Black Mirror, Stranger Things, Ozark, Dead to me, The Witcher, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards and many other worthy opponents.

We can’t wait for the 27th of June.
