Dwight is a troubled man. He’s from the town of Haven where people have special abilities which they call "The Troubles". While he was in the army he fought in Afghanistan his own “troubles” become unleashed and they’re nowhere near safe. Dwight literally turns into a bullet magnet.
He returns to Haven to live with his daughter where he becomes part of the Guardians (who try and help the Troubled people) and a cleaner for the sheriff.
Despite his rough looks (he’s played by a WWF fighter) he proves to be an extremely caring and kind person. He tries to help everyone who needs assistance and takes care of the town’s needs and those of its citizens. He plays a major part in saving Haven from the Troubles. In the end it turns out that this rough and tough looking guy is not bad at all. In fact, exactly the opposite.
