Ka D’argo is a huge, rough, tough and strong alien. His story is filled with tragedy and injustice but that’s the fuel that drives him.
D’argo lost his wife and son. He was unjustly accused and prosecuted for a murder he didn’t commit.
In the beginning he’s rude and untrusting, driven by one sole goal – to remain free so that he can find his son. But over time we get to see his gentler side as he grows attached to the rest of the crew and reveals his story.
In his relations to the crew, be they romantic or not, it becomes apparent that he’s caring and goodhearted. He risks his own life quite a few times not only for Moya and her crew but for completely unknown … creatures.
This makes him a caring lump, deserving of a part in such a ranking.
