Teal’c (Stargate SG-1)

Teal'c
Teal’c is a big, strong and strict Jaffa, and a champion for Apophis. Looks scary, right?
Despite the above and the fact that he grew up in a very scary world, a slave to alien parasites which pretended they were goods, Teal’c is kindhearted, good-tempered and prudent.
The first time we see him, he’s a scary strong champion who comes to choose a woman from among the slave, who will serve the “godlike entity” Apophis – a parasite pretending to be a god. But when he sees that there’s hope for the Goa'uld to be defeated, he turns his back on Apophis, his friends and family, just so that he can free the galaxy from being enslaved by the false gods.
Teal’c proves his kindness many a time during the 10 seasons of the show by risking everything in the name of helping and doing the right thing. Even after his personal mission had ended (the Goa’uld defeated) he continues to sacrifice everything in the name of the good fight, facing other and new enemies which threaten the galaxy.
What further proof of his good nature could we expect?
