Andvari in Hero Wars

Andvari is a support/control hero positioned at the front line in the Hero Wars Dominion Era. He is usually used as a tank due to his damage-absorbing abilities, even though this is not his role.

Andvari is great at protecting the heroes behind him from displacement and is also able to stun enemies at the same time. He is often considered a good pick for end-game teams, especially against K'arkh teams, as a hard counter.

Pros
  • Protects allies against displacement and activates a shield that absorbs both physical and magical damage
  • Stuns enemies
  • Cleaver counter, blocking his Rusty Hook ability to pull enemies to the front line
  • K’arkh hard counter, blocking his Nexus of Horror ability to throw enemies into the air
Cons
  • Low armor and magic defense and still positioned on the front-line
  • He is not a tank but usually serves as a tank
  • Using it as the only tank in the team might not be enough
