Cats with Character

Salem Saberhagen is a former witcher whose punishment is to spend a very long time being a cat, as he tried to take over the world despite the fact that the superiors told him not to. The popularity of the TV series makes his character a leading one while the comic book character slowly catches up to him.

Salem is exceptionally witty and is always the first one to joke even if he's crying. He often gives Sabrina bad advice which includes the use if magic, which often leads to further trouble. He's motivated by his greed, hunger and ambition. He's proud of his singing voice and loves playing with wool, reading Sabrina's diary and more. Although he's quite egotistic, he really loves his "keepers" and even offers to be the best man to Sabrina and Harvey.

According to rumors, in the upcoming Netflix series the cat will have a more serious and darker role – he'll be Sabrina's consciousness and he'll try and stop her in her more impulsive decisions.
