Cats with Character

Although he's more human than anything else, the Cat from Red Dwarf is absolutely deserving of his place in this ranking. He's the offspring of Lister's pregnant cat, resulting from a radiation leek over the course of three million years of evolution (which Lister spends in cryosleep). He's vane, in love with himself not especially smart or mannered, loves dressing up in extravagant attire and enjoying his good looks. Although he may be entirely superficial and egotistic, his charisma is enough of a reason for him to be a part of the mining ship. Danny John-Jules plays the part successfully for over 30 years.
