Cats with Character

Amy finally defends her doctor's thesis in the Martian university but her professor seemingly denies it. It turns out that the frumpy old man is just a puppet on strings, led by the villain-cat, who wants to transfer Earth's rotation energy to its own planet, so that lazy cat life can continue there forever while half of our planet gets baked and the other half sinks in darkness and cold forever. One of the leading weapons on the side of cats in this fight is hypnotizing people by showing them how darn cute they are. Futurama's scriptwriters entwined quite a lot of truths in this otherwise absurd scenario.
