Enemies killed by Drayne cannot be resurrected. This counters Aidan's ability to resurrect Kayla.
Morrigan's 4th skill, Necromancy, blocks Aidan's 1st skill, Phoenix Ritual, which resurrects Kayla. Morrigan also receives additional Soul Essence charges for each resurrection attempt that can be used to resurrect an ally hero.
Cleaver can pull Aidan to the front line with his Rusky Hook, making him vulnerable to front-line attacks.
Celeste can block Aidan's healing and convert it to magical damage.
Jorgen can redirect all the damage to the furthest enemy with his 3rd skill, "Leper." Having in mind Aidan is positioned at the furthest position he will be destroyed easily.
Cornelius will target Aidan due to the fact Aidan is one of the heroes with the highest intelligence in the game. Cornelius performs damage proportional to the target's intelligence level, usually enough to kill Aidan in one hit.
Phobos can steal Aidan's energy and stun him if he's the hero with the highest magic attack in the enemy team.
Jhu targets the back line where Aidan is positioned. This makes Aidan an easy target to die early in the game.
Folio's Curse of Knowledge steals Intelligence from the enemy with the highest Intelligence, which is usually Aidan. Less Intelligence means less Magic Attack and weaker healing, and when the curse ends the whole enemy team is pulled towards Aidan.
Polaris's Pulsing Comet lands behind the enemy team, and the stun lasts longest close to the landing site. Aidan stands in the back line, so he is stunned the longest and cannot heal.
Leonel's Predator Jump deals triple damage to shielded enemies. Aidan's Flame Shield protects allies that drop below 30% Health, so Leonel hits them hardest exactly when they are shielded.
Ninja Turtles: Raph and Mikey leap behind the farthest enemy and push them into the middle of their team. This drags Aidan out of the back line, where he is easy to focus down.
