Poison Ivy – Batman
As most comic book characters, Poison Ivy appears in many forms over the course of time. Some depict her as a fairly normal looking woman in green clothes (the way we see her in her sole big screen appearance, portrayed by Uma Thurman) and others – as a fully green and plant covered seductress.
Among the rather more interesting (and sexy) versions, the one depiction in Batman: Arkham City really stands out. The characters starts out as a botanist who turns into a half-plant, half-human after a failed experiment. What floats in her veins is actually chlorophyll, her touch can be poisonous and her pheromones drive men insane. Her evil doings are primarily oriented towards eco-terrorism – she wants to rid the world of human beings and leave it to nature.
Even Batman's iron will and usual capacity to withstand her influence, almost caves and falls under her spell. In the end, however, they manage to understand each other and form an alliance and she even sacrifices herself so that the big evil doer can fall – Scarecrow and his fear inducing nerve toxin.
